Week in Arts #3/19

It was a quiet week and for the first time, I had everything under control. I started many new projects in the past and finally, I had the feeling that I am on top of my working schedule. I had also a little bit of time to make paintings., next to my daily sketching series.

So here are my harmonious and gorgeous paintings of this 3rd week:

Week in Arts #1/19

I started the new year with some relaxed pours and small experiments.

First I poured over Paper with yellow paint and toped it with black paint.

I also did a fluid painting with lots of different colors:

 

The complain 

 

The last one was an experiment which I totally fell in love with! This is black paint on paper. On top, I did a transparent pour which I let explode a little with compressed air. On top of that, I used fluorescent pink spray paint. This spray paint dried like skin and it ripped apart when I touched it. It gave this painting this vulnerability and softness which was really a representation of my feelings at that time.

Time to celebrate: I sold my very first Artwork!

Today is a very special Day for me! I sold one of my favorite pieces and I hope the person who bought it, loves it as much as I do!

It was part of my Inktober 2018 series. I sold it on Etsy, where I just revised my listings (for three days in a row and with way to much coffee). Maybe the whole SEO stuff is working. Maybe I’m just lucky.
